Job Profile
- Manage and coordinate procurement activities for the building construction project.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders, procurement documents, and related records.
- Coordinate with the Materials, Engineering, Finance, and Administration departments.
- Monitor material deliveries, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation.
- Support cost control and ensure timely availability of construction materials and services.
- Carry out other procurement-related duties assigned by the company.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in construction procurement.**
- Experience in building construction projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant procurement systems.
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects will be an advantage.
