Site Engineer / Supervisor

Location: Site-based, Aluth Eluwankulama, Puttalam District (Wilpattu National Park)

Contract: Full-time, project-based (approx. 12 months construction period)

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Role Summary

Ceylon Jungle Lodges (Pvt) Ltd is developing a 20-bungalow conservation-led luxury wildlife lodge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site construction and keep the build on programme for a 12-month timeline.
• Coordinate between contractors, the Quantity Surveyor, architects, engineers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Track progress, budgets, and quality of work, and report regularly to the Directors.
• Liaise with local authorities on site-related approvals and inspections.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Solid experience managing construction projects in Sri Lanka, from site level through to completion.
• Background in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, or a related field.
• Comfortable reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and BOQs.
• Experience with hotel, resort, lodge, villa, or other remote-site builds is a plus.
• Trustworthy and reliable with budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication skills with both site labour and senior management.
• Able to be based at or near the site for the duration of the build.
