Role Summary

We are hiring a Technical Officer - Construction to join our growing team in Matale. We are looking for individuals passionate about construction and quality control with experience in site supervision and project coordination.

Location

Matale (with willingness to work on sites within and outside Matale, including Jaffna)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction site activities
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards
• Prepare progress reports and maintain site records
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Resolve technical issues on-site

Requirements

• Diploma or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of construction site supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with building approval procedures and regulatory requirements
