Can you write British English that sells a course? Join Imperial Edutech — Sri Lanka’s Edtech hub delivering internationally recognised professional courses across the UK and beyond. We’re looking for a Content Writer to create SEO-optimised course pages that turn UK readers into enrolled students.
What You'll Do
- Write course descriptions, landings pages and promotional copy for our UK-facing websites
- Optimise every page for search – keyword research, meta descriptions, content structure
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for market research, competitor analysis and content ideas
- Plan content calendars with the Course Development team
- Proofread and refresh existing pages to keep quality and rankings high
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding British English — grammar, tone and style you can prove with samples
- Solid SEO knowledge: keyword research and on-page optimisation
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for research and content
- A feel for UK audiences and how to write for them
- Comfortable with a CMS, analytics tools and basic HTML

Remote | UK Hours
Monday – Friday
1.30pm – 10.30pm
(Parallel to UK office hours. 12.30pm – 9.30pm during UK daylight saving. Weekends and UK bank holidays off.)
British English Essential: You'll write for UK audiences every day — language, tone and cultural fit all matter.
