Contract Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to join Vidullanka as we are expanding our growing portfolio of Transmission Line Projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the main contract and key subcontract agreements, ensuring contractual obligations, notices, submissions, approvals and commercial entitlements are properly managed
• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions
• Identify, document, prepare and administer variations, claims, EOTs and contractual notices, including maintaining appropriate contemporaneous records and substantiation
• Monitor project costs, main project cost controls, budgets, commitments, cash-flow projections and commercial performance against budget
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice/payment application submissions
• Monitor commercial performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide management with timely analysis of project margin, variations, claims, cost exposure and cash flow
• Attend project meetings and prepare regular management and Board presentations/reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated experience in contract administration, variations, claims and commercial management
• Experience in transmission line or power projects will be an advantaged
• Professional qualifications in contract management or project management will be an advantage
• Strong practical experience in FIDIC contracts, variations, claims, and cost management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to independently manage contractual and commercial matters and deliver projects within budget and on time
