Electrician (Contract Basis) - Kalubowitiyana Tea Factory Ltd

Requirements/Qualifications

External Candidates:

• GCE O/L: Passed 6 subjects including English and Sinhala/Tamil, with at least 4 credit passes.
• Completed a minimum 1-year Electrical course from a recognized Technical College.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a factory setting is considered an added qualification.

Internal Candidates:

• Must have completed at least 3 years of satisfactory service in the relevant field at Kalubowitiyana Tea Factory Ltd.

Age Limit:

• Between 18 and 45 years (No upper age limit for internal candidates).

Salary/Benefits

Monthly Salary:

• Rs. 50,919.00 - 3 x 1,025.00 - 53,994.00 (As per 2026/28 collective agreement).

Additional Information

• Preference will be given to candidates residing in Galle, Matara, and Kandy districts.
