Software Quality Assurance Executive (On Contract)

Develop and maintain test plans, test procedures, and test cases for both manual and automated testing to support comprehensive and consistent testing of software applications.
Prioritize contingency assurance tests to ensure software undergoes rigorous evaluation, minimizing risks and enhancing the reliability of software.
Perform end-to-end testing to identify, document, and track software defects through resolution to thereby support software execution and effective issue closure.
Analyze test results ensuring the alignment between the actual outcomes with expected behavior to act on quality improvements and defect resolution.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies, including emerging testing tools, automation frameworks and Quality Assurance methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute to defining and enhancing quality standards and release criteria to ensure the delivery of secure and high-quality software.
Effectively share knowledge and best practices with team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in software quality assurance.

A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering (in an Information Technology related discipline) or in a related field obtained from a local or foreign University, recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.

Minimum of two (02) years' hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance or software testing, including experience in: manual testing, preparing test plans and cases, and executing tests.

Professional Qualifications/Certifications in software Quality Assurance and related technologies (such as ISTQB, etc).
