Chief Operating Officer
ACME Printing & Packaging PLC invites applications from accomplished senior professionals for the position of Chief Operating Officer. This is a key executive appointment with responsibility for leading manufacturing and engineering, supply chain and procurement, and the Company’s commercial and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence, improve plant reliability and productivity, strengthen cost and working capital discipline, enhance profitability, and build an accountable, high-performance organisation.
- Lead manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
- Deliver agreed targets for production, quality, cost, service, profitability and cash flow.
- Improve capacity utilisation, plant reliability, productivity and overall operational efficiency.
- Strengthen procurement governance, supplier performance, inventory control and working capital management.
- Align operational execution with commercial priorities, budgets and strategic objectives.
- Develop a strong management team and embed clear accountability, safety, quality and compliance standards.
- Lead the organization’s sales and business development strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, market expansion and long-term profitability.
Requirements
- A recognised degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- At least 10 years of senior operational leadership experience in a manufacturing or process driven organisation.
- A demonstrable record of improving productivity, cost efficiency, profitability, supply-chain performance and operational controls.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with decisive leadership, analytical capability and excellent stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in printing, packaging or industrial manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.
- Commercially astute, hands-on and execution-focused leader who can translate strategy into measurable results.
