JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet new customers and provide financial solutions to their requirements (new customer acquisition)
• Assist the branch manager in achieving annual budgeted credit targets and growth assigned to the branch
• Prepare credit proposals inclusive of financial analysis, operating analysis, risk analysis and other requirements of the bank
• Liaise with credit approving authority of the Bank to obtain timely approvals
• Join the Branch Manager / Relationship Manager on client visits / meetings
• Perform periodic reviews of the revolving & other credit facilities on timely basis
• Monitor the branch credit portfolio & provide solutions to customers with difficulties in repayment terms

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience of which 3 years should be in a credit related role
• Full or Part qualification in Banking, Credit Management or International Trade would be an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical skills including the ability to understand and interpret financial statements
• Flair for Marketing with an outgoing personality
