Call Center Operator - Swisstek Ceylon PLC

Role Summary

As a Call Center Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing accurate information, handling inquiries, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You'll play a vital role in strengthening customer relationships through efficient communication, problem-solving, and professional service aligned with our brand's standards of reliability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to customer inquiries, product information, and order updates.
  • Record customer details, inquiries, and follow-up actions accurately in the system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely responses.
  • Promote company products and services by identifying customer needs and providing suitable solutions.
  • Maintain call logs and prepare daily reports on customer interactions and feedback.
  • Ensure all communication is handled courteously and in line with company service standards.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the relevant departments or supervisors.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or equivalent; a Diploma in Customer Service, Marketing, or Communication will be an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer support role, preferably in a manufacturing or service-oriented company.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Sinhala and English; Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Strong listening skills, patience, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple calls efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or call management systems.
