Customer Support Assistant / Customer Support Officer (Mobile/Internet Banking)

Role Summary

Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC invites applications for the position of Customer Support Assistant/Customer Support Officer at our Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and customer queries related to the mobile wallet application, including transactions, account access, and feature usage.
• Resolve customer complaints related to failed transactions, delayed payments, reversals, and technical issues.
• Provide clear guidance on mobile wallet features, usage, and digital payment processes.
• Log and track customer interactions, escalating unresolved cases to relevant teams.
• Follow up on pending cases to ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
• Educate customers on self-service options and safe wallet usage.
• Identify and report recurring issues and trends to support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and data privacy standards.
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and a focus on customer satisfaction in all interactions.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Age: 20-30 years.
• Successfully completed GCE Advanced Level (A/L) or equivalent.
• Diploma in Business/Customer Service is an added advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in a call centre, customer service, or financial services environment (preferably digital payments or banking).
• Basic understanding of digital payment systems, mobile wallets, or banking transactions.
• Ability to handle complaints and difficult customers professionally.
• Dynamic and result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Freshers with strong communication skills, patience, and problem-solving ability may also be considered.
• Ability to communicate in Tamil is an added advantage.
