Information Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the CISO in ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and information security requirements.
• Support security risk management, including the review and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with business units to maintain security systems and mitigate security risks.
• Prepare cybersecurity dashboards, reports, and management updates.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments for IT projects and system implementations.
• Drive information security awareness programs across the Bank.
• Manage SOC activities, including threat monitoring and incident response coordination.
• Perform security, access, and third-party vendor reviews to strengthen controls and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Security within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ISO 27035, or similar standards.
• Sound knowledge of CBSL information security regulations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Security product certifications will be an added advantage.
