Assistant Manager (DPMC Workshop - Ampara)

The David Pieris Motor Company (Private) Limited, the largest automotive company in Sri Lanka, operates through the DPMC Workshop network, which is vehicle service, repair and maintain facility located islandwide. Responsibilities

• Drive the team to achieve Workshop objectives and targets.
• Monitors and adjusts operations to ensure efficiency and policy adherence of the Service Standard operations (SOPs).
• Train the team for skill and technology upgradation to achieve high results and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting in the management in establishing yearly budgets and monthly forecasts for the workshop business.
• Overlook spare part operation to ensure required spare parts with the right quantities are available when needed.
• Build healthy rapport with the customers through high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Professional qualification in Business Administration / Finance /Management or related will be added advantage.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in Automobile industry including three years in supervisory role.
• Extensive background in aftersales services and spare parts in Automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with excellent team management.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages.
