Deputy Manager - Marketing
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Deputy Manager Marketing to strategically plan, execute and oversee marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen brand visibility and enhance customer engagement within the insurance sector. The role involves managing campaigns, digital strategies, product launches, events, sponsorships and cross-functional collaboration with sales and operations teams.
Job Functions
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing and customer engagement programs
- Manage marketing events, sponsorships, and internal campaigns to maximize engagement
- Coordinate with external agencies, creative partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective execution of marketing activities
- Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Management, Insurance, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of marketing experience in life insurance industry, with preferably more than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Good understanding of life insurance products, customer segments, and marketing practices
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala, English and Tamil (added advantage), along with strong negotiation, problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
