Assistant Security Manager

Role Summary

The Golden Crown, a 5-star luxury hotel in Kandy, is seeking an experienced, results-oriented individual for the position of Assistant Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, visitors, contractors, and hotel assets at all times.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of all security personnel.
• Monitor and manage security systems and equipment, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct investigations into incidents such as theft, loss, accidents, or security breaches and submit timely, accurate reports.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations and support management in risk mitigation and crisis management.
• Maintain strong coordination with hotel management, guests, and external authorities when required.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military service, or a star-class hotel environment.
• Sound knowledge of security-related laws, regulations, and crisis management practices.
• Proven experience in handling modern security technology and surveillance systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in supervising and motivating security teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, well-presented, independent, and results-oriented with excellent report-writing skills.
