DevOps Engineer

Role Summary

10QBIT is seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our Jaffna-based team. This position is designed for professionals who are enthusiastic about cloud infrastructure, automation, and the development of scalable systems within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate, and oversee highly available infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and Azure.
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and consistent deployment processes.
• Manage multi-region cloud services and collaborate with IT departments for provisioning and monitoring.
• Execute disaster recovery plans and implement geo-replication strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents to prevent future occurrences.
• Optimize Kubernetes environments and drive rapid production deployments.
• Work alongside engineering teams to automate workflows and integrate modern technologies.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and connectivity.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable professional background.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in DevOps, specifically with CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proven expertise in the Azure ecosystem, including build and release management via Azure DevOps.
• Technical proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and various build tools.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Azure CLI.
• Experience with service mesh tools like Istio.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, including VPNs, security groups, and access controls.
• Ability to monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Datadog.
• Competency in both Windows and Linux/Unix administration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
