DevOps Engineer

DEVOPS ENGINEER

We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer for our client company

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS: EC2, RDS, ELB, VPC, CloudFront, ElastiCache, SQS, Lambda, S3, WAF, CloudWatch and IAM
• Experience with infrastructure as code: CloudFormation and/or Terraform
• Experience designing, managing and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker, ECS, Fargate or similar
• Working familiarity with PHP/Laravel applications
• Excellent written and verbal English skills to collaborate effectively in a global team
• Demonstrable experience designing or managing cloud infrastructure in a complex, working real-world project
• Experienced and opinionated on relational database design, architecture and optimisation
• Self-starter with a start-up mindset, keen to learn different roles and work on a variety of tasks
• Curiosity, open mind, and passion for understanding users and meeting their needs
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
• AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
