Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist
Role Summary
Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya is seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive with strong expertise in content creation, videography, photography, digital advertising, and advanced technical skills. The selected candidate must independently handle all digital platforms and deliver high-quality creative output to elevate the hotel’s brand presence.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Key Skills: Expert management of all major social media platforms; ability to produce original, high-quality content; strong knowledge of backend tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Studio, etc.); professional videography & photography (shooting, editing, storytelling); high-level graphic design; management of digital campaigns (Social Media Ads, PPC, Google Ads, Email & Retargeting); strong SEO knowledge; website and CMS management (WordPress or similar); excellent command of English; proficient in digital marketing, analytics & campaign tools.
- Videography & Photography Skills: Strong DSLR/mirrorless camera handling; excellent understanding of ISO, shutter speed, aperture & frame rates; skilled in cinematic and commercial-style shooting.
- Artwork & Creative Design: Strong knowledge of color theory, typography & layout; ability to design brochures, menus, flyers, banners, signage & social media ads; experience in full campaign visual development; ability to deliver print-ready files.
- Creative & Visual Production Skills: Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom); DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut/VN, Figma, Canva Pro; 3D tools (Blender/Cinema 4D); AI tools (Runway ML, Descript, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E).
- Technical, Web & Multimedia Skills: WordPress management, hosting/cPanel & landing page builders (Elementor, Divi, Webflow, Wix); Pixel installation, UTM setup, conversion tracking & performance optimization; Coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL); RAW editing in Lightroom & Photoshop; experience with hotel interiors, F&B, events, lifestyle & branding shoots.
