Draughtsman

Key Qualifications

• Technical Qualification: A National Certificate in Technology (NCT) in Civil Engineering, a Diploma in Drafting Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institute (such as German Tech or CGTTI).

Required Experience

• 05 Years Minimum: You must have at least 10 years of intensive, verifiable experience drafting for major construction or civil engineering projects.

Key Skills

• Advanced CAD Proficiency: Mastery of 2D and 3D drafting software, specifically AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation
• Shop Drawing Preparation: Proven ability to independently generate detailed structural steel shop drawings, reinforced concrete (RC) detailing, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination drawings.
• BIM Awareness: Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Autodesk Revit is highly advantageous for modern workshop designs.
• As-built Documentation: Experience in modifying working drawings into final "As-Built" drawings based on actual site modifications.
