Assistant Manager - Elastic Planning

We are manufacturing synthetic fabrics and elastics for direct & indirect exports to our end customers in Europe and USA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the overall production, inventory, and delivery planning schedule of the Elastic Division to ensure on-time customer delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales, Merchandising, Production, Warehouse, and related departments to prioritize urgent orders and ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor production abnormalities, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delivery impacts.
• Control and optimize inventory levels across Raw Material, Greige, and Finished Goods warehouses while ensuring proper stock management.
• Review monthly material disposal activities and obtain necessary approvals while minimizing operational waste.
• Analyze planning performance, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Support and manage all planning-related activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.

SKILL PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Textile Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations, preferably in the textile/apparel industry including a minimum of 03 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Manufacturing ERP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent priorities.
• High attention to detail and decision-making ability.
• Leadership capability with strong coordination and team collaboration skills.
