Role Summary

Lanka Electricity Company (Private) Limited is seeking a qualified Electrical Utility CAD & Modelling Officer on a contract basis to be engaged in the power system strengthening and renewable energy integration project under ADB fund.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) with six subjects including Sinhala/Tamil language, Mathematics and English with at least five (05) credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings; AND G.C.E. (A/L) with three (03) subjects in one sitting.
• Professional/Technical Qualifications: NVQ Level 05 or National Certificate in Technology in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Experience: A minimum of three (03) years of post-qualification experience in CAD drafting & modelling for electrical utility or power sector projects, preferably involving distribution network or substations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Auto CAD with working knowledge of Free CAD and/or Solid Works; familiarity with utility drawing standards and revision control; ability to work as per engineers' instructions.
• Age: Below 40 years as at 03rd August 2026.
