Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) is hiring for the position of Electrical Engineer Grade II.

Job Scope

• Planning, design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of airport electrical systems, and associated control infrastructure.
• The role ensures uninterrupted, safe, and efficient operation of all electrical systems supporting airside and landside activities, in compliance with International, national regulatory, and internal operational procedures.
• The position provides technical leadership to engineering and technical staff, manages system performance, and supports capital development projects while ensuring high system reliability and safety in a 24/7 operational airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering project design, estimation, procurement activities and contract administration.
• Lead and manage of airport projects to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Ensure continuous, reliable operation of all airport electrical systems to support safe and uninterrupted airport operations.
• Analyze system failures and implement improvements to enhance reliability and reduce recurring issues.
• Provide technical leadership, supervision, and competency development for engineering and technical staff.
• Manage energy usage and electrical assets to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and long-term reliability.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the division or an authorized person.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational: Should possess 4 years full time B.Sc. Degree in relevant specialized field in Engineering from a university recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC).
• Professional: Should possess Membership at the level of Associate Member (AM) or higher category of Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL).
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year post qualifying experience as an Engineer in relevant Field (After obtaining the 4 years full time B.Sc. Degree).
• Age: Should be below 35 years on the closing date of applications.
