Role Summary

A leading construction company in the Northern Province is seeking qualified candidates for the following vacancies: Safety Officer, Engineering Assistant (Civil/Electrical), Quantity Surveyor Assistant, and Driver.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Safety Officer - 01

Any one of the following qualifications and experience combinations:

• A basic degree recognized by the U.G.C. AND a Six (06) months Diploma in Occupational Health Safety & Environment (OHSE) conducted by an Institute recognized by the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) AND Three (03) years' experience in similar capacity in a reputed organization.
• A basic degree recognized by the U.G.C. AND National Diploma in Occupational Health Safety & Environment (OHSE) conducted by National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) AND Two (02) years experience in similar capacity in a reputed organization.

Engineering Assistant (Civil) - 01 / (Electrical) - 02

Any one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma in Technology (NDT) in the relevant field awarded by the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa (ITM).
• National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES) conducted by the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) Katunayake, in the relevant field under the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority.
• Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE) conducted by Advanced Technology Institute (ATI), Mattakkuliya and Labudawa, in the relevant field, under the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE).
• Diploma in Technology (Dip. Tech) in the relevant field awarded by the Open University of Sri Lanka.
• Equivalent qualification in the relevant field not less than NVQ Level 6 awarded by any institute accepted by the Sri Lanka Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience.

Quantity Surveyor Assistant - 01

• Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveyor (HNDQS) conducted by Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) at Labudawa, in the relevant field, under the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) OR Pass level 1, 2, and 3, examination conducted by the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) AND Qualified as a Technical Member of IQSSL.

Driver - 01

• Having passed the GCE (O/L) examination in Six (06) Subjects including Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics with two credits in not two settings OR NVQ Level – 03 AND A valid License to drive all vehicles including heavy vehicles and Minimum of Tree (03) years experiences.
