Electrical Engineering Intern
Role Summary
Richardson Projects (Pvt) Ltd invites applications from enthusiastic Engineering undergraduates and Diploma students for a 6-month industrial training program in our Transmission & Distribution Division. This program is designed for students who wish to gain practical exposure to the commercial, technical, and international business aspects of the power industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development within the power transmission and distribution sector
- Working with globally reputed manufacturers, suppliers, and technology partners
- Tender preparation, technical documentation, and bid submission processes
- Project costing, estimation, budgeting, and commercial evaluations
- Understanding and application of international engineering standards (IEC and BSI Group)
- Product selection, technical compliance reviews, and specification analysis
- Exposure to international procurement, import/export procedures, and foreign trade practices
- Technical communication with overseas principals, manufacturers, and clients
- Project planning, contract administration, and engineering documentation
Requirements/Qualifications
- Currently qualified in NVQ 4 in an Engineering diploma program from a recognized institute
- Interest in power systems, project engineering, business development, or technical sales
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn both technical and commercial aspects of the industry
