Engineer - Data Engineering (Tableau)

Role Summary

Hatchyard is looking for a Data Engineering Engineer specializing in Tableau to join the team. This role focuses on transforming complex business needs into meaningful visual insights through advanced dashboarding and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data visualizations.
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Engage with business stakeholders to provide training and product demonstrations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in analytics, BI reporting, or dashboard creation.
• High-level expertise in Tableau and practical experience using Power BI Desktop.
• Proficiency in SQL, specifically for writing SELECT queries.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
• A proven track record demonstrated through a portfolio of dashboard work samples.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication abilities for user engagement.
