Role Summary

As an international company with locations in Germany, Sri Lanka, USA and India we’re developing and producing high sophisticated stamping, injection molding, hybrid and system parts for customers in different industries across the globe. Key Responsibilities

• Design of injection molds, stamping tools and fixtures, including modifications and improvements
• Preparation of technical drawings, bill of material, instructions and specifications
• Optimization of existing production tools in cooperation with specialist departments
• Creation of tool data sheets
• Maintenance of documents for current operating resources
• Participation of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents
• Preparation of design and process feasibility studies
• Creation of drafts/layouts for customer offers

Requirements/Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of tool design and functionality of injection molds and progressive dies
• Sound knowledge of injection molding and progressive die processes
• Confident working with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
• Confident working with a database structure, preferably Siemens Teamcenter
• Profound knowledge in MS Office software such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
• Methodological competence & structured approach to problem analysis
• A team player with ability to work under minimum supervision
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal relation skills
