We are currently looking for a passionate and technically sound Engineering Assistant to join our team at our water bottling plant in Bope, Padukka.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Assist in routine and emergency maintenance machinery.
- Support troubleshooting and repair of pumps, compressors, and water filtration systems.
- Keep track of necessary spare parts inventory and notify for restocking.
- Record all maintenance activities and report issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
- Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the engineering workspace.
- Plan, design and implement manufacturing strategies to meet production goals.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma in NDT/NDES/HNDE.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, and pneumatic systems.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent repair needs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure.
