Head of Engineering - World Trade Center, Colombo

Role Summary

Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC (ORCL) is seeking a Head of Engineering to join the management team of the World Trade Center, Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of building systems to the highest standards.
• Manage staff engaged in operation and maintenance of building services engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
• Identify and schedule regular inspection and testing of critical engineering systems.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Facilities Management Department.
• Responsible for energy management of the buildings.

Requirements/Qualifications

• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university; MBA or MSc in a relevant discipline is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance in high-rise buildings.
• Experience in maintaining Electrical Systems, MVAC Systems, Generators, Vertical Transportation Systems, VFDs, BMS, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Formal qualification and track record in Energy Management is an added advantage.
• Conversant with Building Services Engineering, Technical and Compliance audits, and Report Writing.
• Good communication and people management skills.
• A team player with a "Can do Attitude," capable of working independently and delivering on time.
• Age between 35 – 45 years.
