Entry-Level DSP and FPGA Algorithm Developer
Junior Algorithm Engineer – DSP - FPGA Engineer
About the Role
Join our team to support the research and development of signal processing algorithms for wireless and satellite modems. Gain hands-on exposure to translating mathematical algorithms into hardware and building practical experience in FPGA and embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and improvement of signal processing algorithms for digital modems (Layer 1 — physical layer).
- Contribute to porting mathematical algorithms onto FPGA and embedded platforms, working closely with hardware engineers.
- Work directly with FPGA and embedded hardware, with access to advanced lab facilities.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills — ability to break down complex problems methodically and think at the system level.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- Bachelors in Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundation in digital communications and DSP basics (digital modulation schemes, filtering, FFT).
- Working knowledge of MATLAB and Python, with exposure to C/C++.
- Basic understanding of FPGA and embedded systems concepts (hands-on exposure is a plus).
Nice to Have
- Coursework or projects in wireless communication systems.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Familiarity with any HDL (e.g., Verilog or VHDL).
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work on advanced wireless and satellite communication technologies.
- Exposure to real-world modem and DSP system development.
- Collaborative engineering environment.
- Professional growth and technical mentorship.
