Junior Tourism Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and planning tour packages and itineraries.
• Support senior staff in managing client inquiries, bookings, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate hotel reservations, transport arrangements, and tour schedules.
• Help process travel-related documents such as visas and insurance when required.
• Stay informed on travel destinations and industry updates to assist clients effectively.
• Work with the sales and marketing team to promote tourism services.
• Maintain client records, handle follow-ups, and provide excellent customer support.

Requirements

• Certified qualification in Tourism (Mandatory).
• A minimum of one year of experience in the tourism industry is preferred; however, freshers with strong passion and knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Fluency in English (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in other languages, including Tamil & Sinhala, is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, work in a team, and adapt to challenges.
• Basic computer literacy (Mandatory).
• A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
• Should be residing in/closer to Colombo.
• Preference will be given to applicants currently living in or around Colombo.
