Events Operations Trainee

TRAINEE EVENTS OPERATIONS

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee, Events Operations to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up, servicing, and clearing banquet and event venues
• Support food and beverage service during events in line with service standards
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth event flow
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards at all times
• Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally
• Support post-event breakdown and operational readiness

Skills & Experience:

• Undergraduate or school leaver with an interest in Food & Beverage or hospitality
• Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn and work flexible hours during events
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
