JOB PROFILE
- Assess life insurance applications and related documents to evaluate risk
- Make accurate underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines
- Ensure sound risk management to support a profitable insurance portfolio
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including medical professionals and reinsurers, when required
- Maintain compliance with underwriting standards and service requirements
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Experience in life insurance underwriting or a related insurance role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of medical underwriting and reinsurance will be an added advantage
