Role Overview
Drives end-to-end sales order fulfillment and dispatch operations—overseeing fleet and labour resources, enforcing transport compliance, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Sales Order Execution: Review pending orders in the ERP system, plan deliveries, allocate vehicles, assign delivery staff, notify relevant managers of low-stock items, and maintain delivery records.
- Labour Management: Plan daily manpower requirements; supervise permanent and casual loading teams; track attendance/overtime; oversee delivery crew productivity, and coordinate with HR to maintain workplace discipline and safety standards.
- Vehicle Fleet Management: Oversee maintenance and service records for company vehicles, ensure compliance with revenue licenses and fitness/eco tests, manage transport provider contracts, coordinate accident procedures, and verify contractor bills for payment processing.
- Process Improvement & Customer Care: Identify process improvement workflows, enforce operational safety protocols, coordinate customer satisfaction initiatives, and follow up on delivery-related complaints.
Requirements
- Passed G.C.E. A/L with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Materials Management.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales order execution, fleet management, or delivery coordination within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, strong operational supervisory skills, working knowledge of commercial vehicle compliance and transport safety standards, and excellent problem-solving ability.
