The Job:

We are a leading apparel manufacturer in Sri Lanka looking for a detail-oriented Tax Executive with sound knowledge of local tax laws, including the Inland Revenue Act, VAT, and other statutory regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, SVAT, PAYE, APIT, Income Tax, WHT, etc.) in line with Sri Lankan tax laws.
• Coordinate with the IRD on tax matters, audits, and correspondence.
• Maintain proper tax records and ensure timely payments.
• Stay updated on changes in local tax regulations.
• Assist in tax planning and compliance for manufacturing/export operations.

Qualifications:

• Part or fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / CMA / ACCA or a related qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in tax, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws and IRD procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
