Facilities Maintenance Lead - Poultry Operations

Role Summary

Jaya Farm is looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of Maintenance Manager – Poultry Houses for our Arachchikattuwa, Madurankuliya, and Agunawila Broiler Farms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and carry out maintenance activities of broiler farm buildings, equipment and utilities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity, health & safety and company standards.
• Ensure the smooth operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and water supply systems.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma, Technical Certificate from a recognized institution (NAITA, DTET) or NVQ Level 4/5/6 in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• Minimum 2 Years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in the poultry farming sector.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, generators, water systems and farm equipment maintenance.

Location

Arachchikattuwa, Madurankuliya and Agunawila Broiler Farms.
