Role Summary

Assetline Finance PLC (AFIN) is the flagship company of the Assetline Group, the financial services arm of the David Pieris Group of Companies. We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team to support our rapid expansion plans.

Location

Regional role based in Jaffna.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse the financial performance of branches and regions, report on trends, and provide insights for management decision-making.
• Perform regular branch visits to allocated branches to ensure compliance with finance and accounting policies.
• Oversee the training and performance of main and relief cashiers according to established procedures.
• Authorise branch payment vouchers and ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures.
• Reconcile physical fixed assets of branches with the main fixed asset register in a timely manner.
• Assist in the digitalisation of branch processes, KPIs, and dashboards whenever feasible.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• Part qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA or an equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting & auditing.
• Experience in Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) and audit firms is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala and English. Tamil would be an added advantage.
