Role Summary

The post requires a proactive and analytical individual with strong Finance knowledge and ERP expertise. The ideal candidate should be able to improve business processes through technology while effectively managing Finance and IT operations. The candidate will report to the Director - Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Finance and IT functions of the organization.
• Taking ownership of ERP system performance, user adoption, and process improvement initiatives to support business operations.
• Coordinating with ERP service providers for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical enhancements.
• Ensuring accuracy of ERP data and preparing ERP-based reports for management review.
• Reviewing financial reports, budgeting, costing, and accounting activities.
• Coordinating internal and external audits while ensuring timely availability of required information.
• Overseeing stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and ensuring ERP inventory accuracy.
• Managing IT operations including software, hardware, user support, and system security requirements.
• Leading and supporting the Finance and IT team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements/Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CA Sri Lanka.
• More than 05 years of experience in Finance/ERP/IT-related functions with managerial exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central or similar ERP solutions.
• Experience in ERP implementation or system improvement projects.
• The enthusiasm to stay organised while creating and working with a plan.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.

Non-essential Criteria (Added advantage):

• Degree or professional qualification in an Information Technology-related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or export-oriented organizations.
• Knowledge of Power BI, and business process automation.
