Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading the Company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.
- Prepare and present timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including detailed financial analysis and performance insights for management.
- Ensure the accuracy of costing systems, including project costing, process costing, and batch costing, and maintain updated costing and pricing records.
- Develop, enhance, and streamline financial systems, reporting frameworks, and operational processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, cash flow planning, and working capital requirements.
- Support the Head of Finance in strategic financial analysis, business planning, and performance management initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Sound knowledge of cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital management.
- Thorough understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One (SAP B1).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). A full or part qualification from CIMA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing organization as a Senior Finance Executive or Accountant, handling treasuries, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Strong practical knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation.
- Proven experience working with SAP Business One (SAP B1).
