Role Summary: Bogawantalawa Tea Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd is a leading global marketer of the World's First Climate Positive Teas. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic young individual who aspires to a career in the field of Finance to join us immediately at our processing center in Welisara.

The Job Includes

• Preparing payment vouchers, cheques, and processing fund transfers accurately and in accordance with company policies and financial controls.
• Entering payable invoices and vouchers into the accounting system and ensuring accurate maintenance of accounts payable balances and ledger records.
• Liaising with suppliers and other external stakeholders to facilitate smooth payment processing.
• Processing and converting Goods Received Note (GRN) values from USD to LKR using the relevant system.
• Supporting the preparation of tax-related documents by providing necessary information.
• Maintaining prepayment and accrual schedules to support accurate period-end adjustments and financial reporting.

Applicant Profile

• G.C.E. Advanced Level.
• Part qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA or similar qualification.
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar capacity within a manufacturing environment with exposure to industry best practices in finance.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and effective communication skills in English.
• A pleasant, methodical, and organized personality with a willingness to learn.
• Residing in close proximity to Wattala/Ragama areas and possessing prior work experience in a computerized finance environment will be an advantage.
