Role Summary: Ceylon Jewelry Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd (CJM) is an export processing BOI approved company located in Panadura Industrial Estate, Sri Lanka. It is a high-end Jewelry Manufacturing organization producing design jewelries using precious metal with exclusive diamonds and colored stones etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock Auditing and valuation.
- Handling Tax matters.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Reconcile profit and loss accounts at month-end, verifying expenses and their appropriate allocation.
- Record financial transactions accurately and timely in the MYOB accounting software.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business Administration/Finance from a recognized university and/or
- Part qualified in ACCA, ACCMA, CIMA or CA
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably in manufacturing sector.
- Hands on experience in handling ERP Systems will be an added advantage.
- Experience in MYOB will be an added advantage.
- Preferred candidates residing close to Panadura.
