Role Summary

One of the leading diversified conglomerates with a strong business presence across multiple sectors is seeking a dynamic and exceptional individual with a proven track record to join the Senior Management Team.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, ideally with exposure to international operations.
• Associate or Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
• 'A' grade in Mathematics at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level and 'A' grade in Accountancy at the G.C.E. Advanced Level.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Division (month/year-end, AP/AR, Taxation, cash forecasting, variance analysis).
• Monitor and analyze financial data to produce strategic reports for senior management.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor budgets.
• Manage debts and mitigate financial risk.
• Provide financial feasibility analysis and progress reports for business projects.
• Lead, develop, and provide clarity to the finance team.
• Ensure stringent internal controls and adherence to financial/audit standards.
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions, government bodies, and professional institutions.
