Accountant / Financial Controller

Location: Jaffna, Sri Lanka

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline; or
• Partially Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICASL); or
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in financial management.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and improve internal financial controls.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
