Role Summary

Insightful Financial Analytics is seeking a full-time Financial Accounting & Systems Analyst. This role focuses on financial accounting, reconciliations, financial review, cash flow visibility, and operational finance support to improve reporting accuracy and speed.

Location

Remote (Must be available to work California (PST) business hours during onboarding and training).

Key Responsibilities

Review and maintain daily accounting activities across multiple entities.
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and financial data validation.
Manage and review accounting transactions within QuickBooks.
Monitor AP, AR, payroll-related entries, accruals, and month-end close processes.
Support weekly and monthly financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.
Assist with dashboard reviews and validate financial data.
Identify discrepancies and operational issues impacting profitability.
Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and controls.

Requirements/Qualifications

Part-qualified in a professional accounting or finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent).
At least 2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance.
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting processes.
Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment is strongly preferred.
Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Salary/Benefits

Month 1: LKR 120,000
Month 2: LKR 130,000 (subject to successful completion of Month 1 KPIs)
Month 3: LKR 140,000 (subject to successful completion of Month 2 KPIs)
From Month 4 onward: LKR 150,000/month gross salary
