Role Summary

Technical Officer – Finishing Works

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building finishing works (high-rise experience preferred)
  • Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • NVQ Level 4/5, BCT, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage
  • Candidates with strong practical experience are encouraged to apply regardless of qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate finishing works in line with project specifications and quality standards
  • Plan and monitor daily site activities to achieve project milestones
  • Ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of works
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and material requirements
  • Maintain site records, progress reports, and inspection records
  • Support the Site Engineer/Project Manager in project delivery

Supervisor – Finishing Works

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in building finishing works is essential
  • High-rise, apartment, or commercial building experience is an advantage
  • Ability to manage labour teams and coordinate multiple finishing trades
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and finishing standards
  • NVQ Level 3/4, BCT, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage
  • Skilled candidates with strong site experience are encouraged to apply regardless of academic qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily finishing work activities on site
  • Coordinate skilled workers to ensure quality workmanship
  • Monitor productivity and progress against project schedules
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
  • Maintain records of work progress, labour attendance, and material usage
  • Report site issues and coordinate with the Technical Officer and Site Engineer
