Post of Flying Squad Officer (Contract)
The Sri Lanka Transport Board is recruiting persons on a contract basis for the post of Flying Squad Officer within the Flying Squad Division at the Head Office.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational: Passed G.C.E. (O.L Level) Examination in 06 subjects in one sitting with Four (04) credit passes including Sinhala / Tamil and Maths.
- Educational: Passed G.C.E. (A.L Level) Examination in at least three subjects (03) (except the Common General Paper).
- Technical: Followed a Computer Course of not less than Six months (06) duration recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
- Age: Should be between 18-45 years.
- Health: In perfect health and be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- Physical/Mental: Physically and mentally fit to carry out duties entrusted perfectly as well as serve in any part of the island.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly basic contract stipend: Rs. 46,226.
- Cost of living allowance: Rs. 17,800.
- Entitled to overtime allowance and other allowances paid to Flying Squad Officers.
- Entitled to travelling allowance.
