Hostess

Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hostess to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage reservations and coordinate table allocations efficiently
• Escort guests to tables and present menus
• Handle guest inquiries and assist with special requests
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth seating flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Address guest concerns promptly and courteously

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Hostess, Guest Relations, or Front Office role is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-groomed with a pleasant and professional demeanor
• Ability to manage reservations and handle high guest volumes
• Basic knowledge of restaurant reservation systems is an advantage
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
