Key Responsibilities

  • Review import documents before customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with clients, shipping agents, and authorities.
  • Prepare VAT vouchers accurately and on time.
  • Monitor Personal Guarantee renewals.
  • Submit monthly Import CUSDECs to Finance.
  • Maintain organized shipment files and records.
  • Follow up on container deposit refunds.
  • Obtain Plant Quarantine approvals for imports.
  • Process tea import cancellation documents and permits.
  • Arrange Bank Guarantees with Finance when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely shipment status updates.
  • Arrange insurance coverage for all shipments.

Requirements

  • Valid Customs House Agent (CHA) Pass
  • Experience in tea exports/imports or knowledge of the tea industry
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Good knowledge of Customs procedures and import regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently
