Role Summary

Monami Freighters (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and responsible Logistics Executive to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage weighbridge operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle end-to-end transport operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
• Supervise de-mounting and container storage operations within the yard.
• Coordinate fleet and driver operations to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Monitor truck and fleet performance, fuel usage, and maintenance records.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to transport and container handling.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Track shipment movements and proactively resolve any operational delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and company procedures.
• Perform shift-based work requiring a hands-on approach.

Requirements

• Age below 45 years.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transport, or fleet operations.
• Sound knowledge of de-mounting container storage and transport operations.
• Proficiency in Sinhala language is mandatory.
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office / Excel).
• Valid motorbike driving license (mandatory).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a shift-based operational environment.
