Full Stack Engineer
Role Summary
Douglas & Sons (Pvt) Ltd (DSL) is Sri Lanka's market leader in the auto parts industry. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in a state-of-the-art modern office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy new web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- System Ownership: Refactor and maintain existing legacy codebase and in-house systems.
- Enterprise Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain the Group's centralized Reporting Module and SAP Business One data analytics.
- Team Collaboration: Provide technical support and mentorship to team members.
- User Training & Support: Conduct training sessions and provide technical support to business users.
- Agile Execution: Participate in project planning, documentation, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Dynamic Alignment: Perform specialized technical tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of proven professional experience in software development.
- Enterprise Savvy: Experience with enterprise ecosystems, custom API integrations, and data extraction pipelines.
- Full-Stack Capabilities: Strong understanding of frontend UI/UX, backend architecture, security/authentication, database modeling, and version control (Git/GitHub).
- Problem Solving: Ability to translate unstructured business requirements into production-ready code.
- Agile Mindset: Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional analytical skills.
- Oracle Apex: Knowledge of Oracle Apex reporting system is a definite advantage.
