About the role

We're looking for a Technical Support Intern / Associate to help keep merchants live and supported, sitting at the intersection of merchant support, operations, and data. This is a hands-on operational role, not a back-office one: you'll talk to merchants, resolve issues, use SQL and AI tools to keep things running smoothly, making it a great fit for someone curious about how POS and payment platforms work and eager for real exposure to a fintech/restech product.

What you'll do

Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications, using structured techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and decision tables
Test and validate APIs using Postman, and build end-to-end automation with Playwright (web) and Appium (mobile)
Run load and stress tests with jMeter, and perform basic security testing against the OWASP Top 10
Write SQL queries against MySQL/PostgreSQL to validate backend data integrity
Use Claude AI and other AI tools to accelerate test case generation and bug report writing, while maintaining accountability for correctness
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, and participate in sprint ceremonies, story grooming, and acceptance-criteria discussions
Use GitHub for version control, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage

What we're looking for (required)

1+ years of hands-on QA experience across manual testing, automation, and API testing
Practical experience with Postman, Playwright, and Appium for API and end-to-end automation
Experience with jMeter for load/performance testing, and working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10
SQL proficiency (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for backend data validation
Solid grasp of test case design techniques and cross-browser/device testing tools
Practical, hands-on use of AI tools for test case generation and bug reporting
Experience working within Agile/Scrum, with strong critical thinking and a user-centric testing mindset
